Buttock augmentation

In a procedure called buttock augmentation or gluteoplasty, buttocks that are perceived as too small or too flat by the patient can be enlarged and reshaped with the help of implants. During this procedure, the gluteal implants are placed under the gluteal muscle (gluteus maximus) with a vertical incision between the buttocks.

A buttock augmentation, or gluteoplasty, is usually performed under general anesthesia with a subsequent overnight stay in the clinic for further monitoring for up to three days. In a personal consultation with the performing specialist will be discussed which implants are the best option to achieve the desired result.

In addition to the specialist’s indication that, for example, secondary bleeding and infections can occur, it should be noted that in the event of complications and/or follow-up treatments of a buttock augmentation performed for aesthetic reasons, there is a high chance that health insurance companies will no longer cover the full costs of the necessary treatments. The associated financial risk for the patient can be absorbed by taking out our safe4beauty cosmetic surgery insurance.
